Re: 2013 SCUK Meet?
Thing is wherever we have it there is always going to be members that have to travel far to get to it, could be worse though, people on US sites travel for days to get to suzuki meets
The majority of our regular members are actually down south, sibbertoft is a 140mile drive for me and there's quite a few people who are even further into the southwest, I'm not too fussed how far I have to drive but want to make it fair for the majority of our members, there will always be a few who aren't up for traveling the distance and with members scattered all around the UK we won't be able to please everyone.

Re: 2013 SCUK Meet?
Wagtail it is then.
I'm prepared to do 200 mile. Its just a leisurely ride out. I did over 600 round trip and hired a van just for parts! Then another 250 round trip for more parts. Still gotta run back down to Richards place to collect more parts. Thats about 200 round trip. So that'll be over a 1000 miles this year for parts.
Everyone travelling more than 10miles. Go out and get some nice cushions and plan where the next petrol station is.
I'd love it to be at parkwood 75miles from my house but as most members are from down south i agree with it being slightly closer to them. I know how painful long drives in a poorly Zuk are.
If your concerned about the return drive then don't do anything that is outside of your Zuks ability and it shouldn't break.
Or ensure you have RAC and we'll drag you to the nearest tarmac road.

Scottie / Dan are you are both supplying our firewood, BBQ and cider in with the price aren't you? Otherwise it could be a deal breaker.

Re: 2013 SCUK Meet?
Hoooo, over 150 miles to get there, including a lot of M1. Plus if anything decides to give up at the far end, I'll be in trouble. I've got to drive to University in something and unlike most folks on here I don't have another vehicle.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
