Liking the moggy!
One of my mates has a 57' (i think) split screen. Its rough but is "a long term project" as he puts it. 20yrs and counting.

Brilliant, I like the moggy too, for a while i wanted a lambretta but they were just expensive and the owners seemed a little elitist - not including you of course!
I had a Puch Ms50d which I restored instead, same idea as the lambretta but with less power and bigger wheels!

(it had its own duvet for a bit!)

I loved that little bike!

Jordi - split screens went out of production late '56.
Tramp - your right about some Lambretta owners being elitist, some of them look down there noses at you if your Lambretta isn't an original Italian one or you don't go to every national rally!!!!
If you still want one. an Indian GP can be bought at a reasonable price, just don't look at the price of an italian SX200, TV200 or GP200. Personally I prefer the Spanish built Series 2 Winter Model but they go for silly money now, luckily I bought mine when Spanish ones were still cheap before everbody cottoned on to how rare they are!!!
You can even use them off road in classic bike trials if your daft enough like me!!!
