You under estimate what can be done Ollie.
Not exactly good practice but way to improve things and tidy them up / make it MOTable.

Re: Lets get the ball rolling !!
Like I say... I can probably make it solid... But it won't be much of a looker. At least it could have an mot and you can get a replacement wing when you sell the other one
get it running and you could get a couple of hundred for it at least

Re: Lets get the ball rolling !!
Nice one you will have to swap over the arch mounting lip though as that one has a samurai one fitted, this involves drilling out the spot welds on both and then spot welding the 410 lip onto it.

Tidy!!!!!
A propper gift mate. Don't be put off by the drilling and welding Ollie. Spot/plug welding is pretty easy.
When drilling out don't use a lot of force as you only need to drill through about 1mm, maybe less and the old fitment will literally drop off. If there are any sharp or rough bits left just a gentle skim with a grinder will remove them and leave nice clean metal to weld to again.
Offer up the SJ arch and get it in place (not sure of the spot welds are in the same place), clamp the new lip in place, as tight as possible where the welds will be. It may not be possible to clamp it, so get a helper to push it tight up and using a circular motion (my preference) go round the hole gently with a steady hand, trying not to jerk the welder.
If you have some scrap lying about practice on that to get the welder set right.
