Shit, there isn't a lot left of it
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: Don't drive on bridleways!
No sympathy from me, the twats shouldn't have been on a bridleway in the first place
Thankfully they now have no vehicle to drive illegally in, it's people like that who get our legal routes closed.

Re: Don't drive on bridleways!
On the subject, when I was out on Saturday there were 2 knobs hooning round the Ogbourne area in a standard vit. No exhaust, lights, or number plates!!
Ripped out of a joining byway at about 50mph and nearly hit me!
If I could have caught the pricks I would have given them a piece of my mind.

If it's not a legal right of way for a motor vehicle i have no sympathy. It's people driving byways and footpaths that ruin it for the rest of us!

Re: Don't drive on bridleways!
Ouch! Looks like that hurt a bit! For starters, its not actually a bridleway... its a restricted byway up there haha
I think I know the bit he fell off, used to drive down there years ago when it was actually a byway!
To be fair, WSCC didn't really do a bang up job of changing it from a byway to a restricted byway.
They did no notification, and all they did was paint the red byway signpost arrows a slightly darker red to show its a restricted byway!
Of course its his fault for not making sure, just be careful not to tar everyone with the same brush! When I was starting out laning I didn't realise they had changed it until the farmer told me!
At which point... I went back the other way and didn't go up there again!
I'm not saying he was right, just that news articles don't always explain the whole story

I would love to be a fireman just for all the spare car parts you could do off with in such situations. Save someones life, and make £30 for selling landy roof....win.

unfortuantley you cant do that but it would be good if you could. i know my local breakers yard gets alot of accident damage vehicles and you see loads of parts that you could want but they land up straight in the crusher!.timwilks13 wrote:I would love to be a fireman just for all the spare car parts you could do off with in such situations.
