hi all thanks for ur words of support, yeah im gonna weld some box section between the floor n chassis to stop any rattles and im puttin the back seats back in as well so drill through floor n the box n weld captive nuts on the back so the seats are fixed nice and strong and not just through the thin floor, just need some box section so far ive not paid a penny for the steel ive used and i dont want to start now! ill add more photos as progress happens, cheers

finally finished welding my sj, put bracing under the floor for more strength and fixed rear seats thru this too, seats seem to be well solid now, gave it a good old coat of schutz, it may delay the rust worm for a bit. Got a weber carb and had to make an adapter plate to mount it to the manifold, i wasnt going to pay 40 odd quid for 1 when i had a bit of steel knocking about! while on with that i made an air box adapter so i could use my standard one, engines running best as i can get it, top ends tappin like mad, think it needs a top end re-build but ill have to see how it goes. Booked mot for half 8 tomorrow, last 1 ran out in 2010, keepin my fingers crossed, with a bit of luck i mite be all legal by this time 2moz!

failed mot. 1 rear wheel bearing and h/c emissions thru the roof got new plugs, leads, inlet gasket and a wheel bearing on the way, better luck next time
