My weekend of joy

Post by ROBBIE » Mon Jun 03, 2013 9:40 am

It all started so well, headed of to do a Dorset green lane weekend, all routes sorted dirve down to Weymouth to meet the rest of the club. Things didnt feel right from the off, the pinion bearing has gone in the front diff, someone had locked 1 of the freewheeling hubs and as the diff wasnt the best it finished it off. So pulled the prop and decided to do the day in 2wd. Got to the meet point and the rear end started to make some nasty noises, think the bearing has gone or the shaft is knackered. It didnt even make one lane and I spent two days in a disco map reading

Yeah wasn't so bad in the disco. Im going to do one of the routes again as the two shiny motors didnt like the look of some of the lanes  Bit too scratchy apparently. Will do the diff tomorrow hopefully but the rear will have to wait until my mate comes back of holiday so I can get on the drive
