Re: SJ 410 tin top rear seat belts
Thanks again Windsor. Going by your pic just what the doctor ordered.
that mounting point or rear wheel arch, I have not got one, any chance of photo under the carpet. Guess there must be some sort of plate inside and one under wheel arch. Could you have a look to see how done as that point is not normally ideal for a seatbelt mount point. Do you recon it is original suzuki work ?.
thanks
Steve

Re: SJ 410 tin top rear seat belts
Put a pair of SJ front 3 point inertia belts in the back of mine yesterday. Spool half way up, pivot above that (as in pictures above). End of belt fitted to prethreaded hole about 2" away from rear body mount. Mine had had a plate welded in the rear corner covering the hole but the captive nut could be seen from beneath so I could measure where to drill through the plate from above. I'd guess all SJ's must have these holes, they're inline with the belt socket mounting holes in the centre. Hope this is helpful.
They don't make cars like they used to!

Re: SJ 410 tin top rear seat belts
thanks for the input guys.
Now I understand how to do just got to find some good used belts of right length.
Will be putting inertia types in using the already there four bolt holes along rear of floor by door and 3 on each rear side panels.
will be at least a couple of months as away but when I get it done will post pics.
