LJ80 trip to Norway

Post by Offroadrunner » Sun Jun 09, 2013 6:37 pm

Next wednesday we leave with 6 LJ80 for a 2 week trip to the middle and south of Norway!
We make plans for this trip for about a year, and finaly we can start the trip to the ferry in Kiel!
We will drive about 3.000 km this trip, take many ferry's and tunnels, see some spectacular waterfalls, climb the Preikestolen, and have a meeting with the founder of the Norwegian Suzukiclub. Hopefully we will drive some nice gravel roads. We will camp, on campsites or in the wild.

Oh men, i can't wait till wednesday! I think i'm ready to leave. Hopefully we are fully prepared. The LJ80 and trailer are ready, and so do i! Now we pray for some nice weather!

I will update my Facebook every day, and write a blog on my Weblog (both in Dutch), if internet is available. :salute:

Wheres the pics?
I went to Norway years ago, very spectacular scenery - very mountainous though, I don't think I'd want to do that trip with an LJ's engine and brakes

A selection of my pics are on my weblog. There will be more pictures added when i have a bit more time. ;)

Norway is a very beautiful country to drive in an LJ80! Also when you pull a trailer, and also when your 3rd gear is broken!
Luckily I have disc brakes in front and rear!

And to add some color to this topic: :hands:
