Hey everybody, I just had an idea that I thought I would share with all of you. I was working on my 410 today and I got to thinking about the fact that the vehicle might be a tad underpowered with the 1.0L F10A engine currently in it. As I don't exactly have the time right now to do a complete engine swap I tried thinking of ideas to make the F10A more powerful and heres the conclusion I came to; A turbocharger wouldn't give any extra power in the rev range I would need, A supercharger would be far too pricey, and a Bigger brand new carb would also be too much money.
So, I was thinking that I could pick up a set of carbs off a 1000cc motorcycle and fit them to my engine to give her a little more grunt. I've heard of many people doing this to their hondas and such but never anything on a vehicle like this. any thoughts?
Anybody thought of this?

we have a guy in the Raging Rhinos with a 1.3l 16v Suzuki Swift engine thats running 750cc bike carbs, it's amazing fast on the road but it doesn’t have much torque
which is no good for off roading id stick with the 1.6 vitara engine, there ready available and the vitara carb is really really good it has none of the problems that the 1.3 SJ carbs have

SU carbs are notoriously hard to come by around these parts... I dont exactly want to do an engine swap just yet, but it will likely happen eventually.

Have a look on the british ebay, they crop up every now and again, and see if they will post to Canada, if not get it delivered to me and i can forward it on to you!
