Gearbox propshaft

Just changed my engine n gearbox out on my 410 n put the 413 gearbox in is the prop shaft supose to go all the way in the gearbox or does it come out abit when bolted on to the transferbox

It's supposed to stick out a bit to allow for movement both in and out as things flex and move.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
