Hi wonder if you guys can help me with this one because i can't work it out.
Three weeks ago i put my girl friends vitara back on the road after being parked up for three years
due to rust, but the brakes keep locking on so i have changed the two front calipers(refurb ones) and new master due to that leaking and new front pipes along with disc and pads.
But when i drove it today the same thing happen again and on a busy main road so, I had to force the car home and when i pulled up my clutch was smoking and i could'nt push the car when out of gear for 15 minutes till it had cooled down then it will roll so now i can't drive it till i sort this out what could it still be

Re: 95 vitara brake problem
Have you looked at the rear drum brakes? They could be binding

Hi Twiss, yes I check them all fine that end.twiss wrote:Have you looked at the rear drum brakes? They could be binding
Bit of an update I took it for drive round the block after checking over the front calipers it started to lock up so while it was parked I jacked up the front end and tried to spin the fronts ,and it was like i had welded them on.
So called a mate who said try undoing the master and pulling it foward till the air escaped ,so i did that and the brakes freed up so is it a servo at fault?
thanks
