I think it looks fantastic, and it fairly solid too...... a great basis to work a restoration from!

Brilliant!

I notice the wheels have attracted a lot of interest, they look like they are the original ones that have had the centres cut out to so that the rim could be repositioned further out, not sure what the extra metal "spokes" are for though. Maybe whoever did them wasn't confident of his welding skills and added them to reinforce the rim.

The Cleveland 4x4 club (now defunct, pity as it was a really good club) lads used to do it with LJ rims that I used to give them for their trialers, one of them even welded landrover rims to LJ centres for fitting 750x15 Firestone SAT's if I remember correctly.

Looks like a nice start for a project

^^^^And that's exactly what I was thinking about the wheels.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could pick up the rear stickers which appear on the LJ80. I know they must be ridiculously rare! Or does anyone know a good site which print good quality stickers? I can always make replicas using my photoshop skills!

There's a guy on one of the Lj forums that makes replica stickers, I'll try and find them for you.

wow! ^ I wasn't expecting a result like that!

How close to the original stickers are they? Do they have the same finish to them as the original's do?

I'll be contacting you shortly :)
