I Chucked the vit on agricultural insurance, plus I saved £270 by signing up to a famers forum and declaring I had 'beneficial' modifications. That the insurance company reccomeneded me to do.

Im 22, been driving for 3 years, 0 ncb (separate policy) 5k annual, £320.

quotes with compare the markshit, go compare etc were over £1000. 99% of the time the good old fashioned way of ringing up and having a chat with like minded people will save you money.

I have modified insurance on my bora, rang up Adrian flux modified insurance, had a chat with another vw fanatic explained to him my modifications, then spent half hour talking about his mk1 golf his put a 1.8 mk4 turbo engine in!! thing is they understand that you tend to look after you car more if its modified.

I had quotes for my car unmodified on the web for £1200+++++ Adrian flux? £470. then a extra £32 off for being a member of a forum.

Trust me ring up and see what you save.

I think mine's on a classic policy with a limited mileage clause. I cant remember exactly what it is but I'm sure its somewhere around £170 - £200 with all mods declared.

I had some ridiculous quotes too to begin with but I shopped around for a while and got it down loads.

I'm sure you'll be able to find something reasonable with a bit of looking.

I've just paid 140 quid tpft with the mods declared, but I'm an old git at 45, before I declared the mods it was £109! Insurance quotes is the 1 good thing about getting older! But that's about it lol!

I'm not that old (not that young either  ) and mine is £265 limited to 5000miles with no no claims (I didn't get them on the old trade policy  ) and an agreed value of £4k because of all the mods :smokin:
