Su carb air filter arrangement

Post by jibb » Fri Oct 25, 2013 6:55 pm

I'm gathering the last few Bits for my su 44 conversion and am at a lost end when it comes to peoples air filter set ups?

Now Personally I want a tube with the vent for the damper coming off the su

I've seen some tubes on eBay but they don't filter the vents for the damper?
For example this one http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewit ... cmd=VIDESC

Is there an enclosed one I can get from any website?

Thanks for any help!

Vent for what damper?

You mean the rocker / pcv valve breather?

I got mine from Rockwatt. He can make them any size you want.

The two holes ethier side of the intake hole? They need to breath otherwise the damper can't move freely. It's in the guide on the home page

Ok thanks I'll ask him!!

I know the ones you mean. Mine is an original rover part and has them cast into it.

RockWatt does billet alloy intakes, cnc machined these also have the grooves machined into them.
