Thanks for the nice comments. We are well pleased with the tin top. Got it 10 weeks ago from a scrapyard. Just passed its mot ready to go back on the road after 7 years. Before Image

Yes Twiss - I only took it up to about 65mph on the way to the MOT as it hadn't been on the road since 2006 but it felt good for more.
And the big truck now cruises at 55mph with an extra leaf in each rear spring. It wasn't the car that wouldn't go faster on the way to Wagtail we were just terrified of the swaying about and needed all three lanes of the motorway to keep it in a straight line!!!
The little black Sammy is the fastest - when we took it to France it covered 72miles in the first hour on the autoroute trying to keep up with the group of Land Cruisers & Patrols we were with. It was also the only truck in one piece on the ferry back after 500 miles in 3 days!! :doublethumbs:

Never have I been this green.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

No Jordi, It's just t-cut, touch up & train smoke. Looks great in the photos but you can see the flaws up close. I'd like to say originality came first but pennies did........Main aim was to put it back on the road & take it from there - so maybe one day. At least it's saved from the crusher now.
