Exhaust

Post by ferris » Tue Nov 17, 2009 7:33 pm

Does anybody know the best/cheapest place to get a exhaust for my sj? Mine has snapped off. I did fix it back together with a baked bean can, but as you can imagine it did'nt last very long

I replaced my back box with a cherry bomb of ebay and flexi pipe, it was cheaper than buyin 1 from the local motorfactors and sounds better
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

Finaly managed get myself an exhaust 8-), got the whole thing brand new for under £40 off ebay. The front end is ok looks slightly different but seems to be the same size. Unfortunately i failed to read the advert properly for the back half, and it is for a LWB sj and is about a foot to long

Well iv put the old back box on for the time being, as its still in one piece and seems to work ok.

But i might call you up on that offer at some point Scottie, if your not to busy. It seems a shame to waste the new back box. Unless any one out there needs a back box for a long wheel base SJ.
