there's a little retainer plate on the end, which slots into a slot on the camshaft, and screws to the engine head, better not leave that off!

i dont remember taking that off:( it was a long time ago though. does anyone have a picture of it though?

Just putting the head back together (well overdue) and I cant find the retaining plate or see any slot in the camshaft, and I dont really remember taking one off. Does the 1.6 8v deffinately have one?

Also some of the rocker shaft bolts are different lenghts, (most short a few long) is this right?
