Speedo recalibration on SJ410, please help..

Post by Jay18 » Thu Dec 26, 2013 2:22 pm

I have put 31" tyres on my zuk and it has made the speedo read 4mph below what the zuk is actually doing according to the satnav

Does anyone know how to recalibrated it?

I don't know if this is relevant for the 410 clocks as well.

I just use sat nav or a speedo app.

I'll give that a go Darrell thanks for that! Of I can't adjust it then I'll have to use an app but I'll have a go at adjusting it tomorrow, I need to take the face plate off again to fix the peeled vinyl wrap and fix the heater tube that has come off in the dash

All car speedo's read below... Top gear did a test usually 10% out in case you went through a speed camera too fast.

Yep I need to do it so it's the other way, so it reads 3 mph more instead of less

My speedo is out around 10mph at 40+ I just remember how far out it is at certain speeds, instead of bothering to try and re-calibrate it, I doubt you'll get it right first time
