I actually bought a length of silicon hose off of eBay for that job not long ago, but ended up buying twice as much as I needed.

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

This is the stuff I bought. I got 40mm i.d. as that was the size of the bit of tubing it fits over on the exhaust manifold cowling. I bought 1.5 metres of it because I'm an idiot and massively overestimated how much I'd need and, as I said, it was roughly twice as long as I needed.

I'll measure how long the bit I've got is so you can check it'll be long enough. If you've got a 410 I'll stick it on mine to check. I'm sure we'll have a shoe box or something I can post it in. ;)

I used a piece of aluminium hot air ducting only cost £10

Only thing in my manifold heat shield hasn't got the 90 degree connector on it so it just sits there and I think it's moved cause this morning she was losing power and had no go in her and all of a sudden thre was power there again, will have to check it today
