Injection sj413 ?

I'm looking at a Suzuki sj for green laning and wondering if there is a injection model of the 413 ? Or at least electronic ignition? And what year this is ?

Yep, the later models are fitted with single point injection, I think these are the samurai sport models.

As for electronic ignition, do you mean in the distributor instead of points and condenser? Pretty sure all of the 413s have electronic ignition?

Yeah injection started in 1993 onward but you'll have to check under the bonnet as people swap engines around etc, usually if an SJ has a late type grill (quartered mesh with an S) it will be in the right age range for injection, although not all of this grill type have injection!

If its an N reg... it probably came out of the factory as injection! As tramp says, they moved to injection mid 93, so some really late L plates may be injected as well

Cheers guys, it's hard to find a 93 on, ye I ment electronic dizzy are they all electronic ? Cba with point etc. had that enuf with my mini.

Yeah all 413s and samurais should be electronic ignition with distributor... 410s have points...
Some may have been converted to leccy ignition though!

Keep looking you will find one! late model ones tend to often be in quite good condition

Yeah in the uk the later ones with single point injection were 93, 94 and 95, they are out there you just have to find them, the later ones usually have the squiggle decal although I think that's probably the worst decal & usually it has been removed!

You can tell really easily by the air pipe coming off the top of the carb

injection is square-ish



carb is round-ish
