hmmm think i might finally sort out rear discs...

I've had all the bit to do this for some time now... old caliper mounts etc.

I have been waiting to try and get a decent kit with mounts in it but not sure I can be bothered now!!!

I'm gonna make the caliper mounts as in our guide... not been keen on the idea really with the new holes and a part missing, but I'm just going to bolt it up and weld it on I think ;)

Thought you said they were the same as those? I've got a spare set of caliper mounts already so just need to drill the holes out :)

I'm not sure if you will be able to weld them on, aren't they cast iron?
You might have to go with bolts only.

I used that write up when i did mine. Its all pretty straight forward and works really well. The worst bit is cutting the disc holders out of the old drums, especially as i cut them the wrong size and had to do it twice.

Worth it just to get rid of those troublesome drums.

I just got the local engineers to cut the drums out on the lathe. fit perfectly, perfectly balanced, and really easy, I definitely recommend them to be cut on a lathe
