About as much off roading capability as a Ford Mondeo. Wish Suzuki would wake up and build a proper 4x4 like they used to.

I've been told, dont know how true, that crash test regs mean that a proper 4x4 wont pass, so they are all going soft

I'm 95% sure that Maruti is going to keep building SJ's, so even if they do start getting really rare, we can always have a big SCUK holiday in India and bring a few SJ's back in a convoy...

That's a few years away, but to my mind, I don't think the SJ is going to go away for many, many years yet!
1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!
