Unless it's got a snorkel fitted, it's air intake is long since under water, surely? So if it's moving, it's probably the current moving it anyway!

Well its got a tall exhaust and I guess the white thing poking out the top behind the cab is the snorkel

The air inlets usually on the RHD wing with the filter, although there would be no problem extending it,

Oh, the white disc thing with the pipework coming off it? Yes, now I've taken a proper look, you could be right! That's insane!

The truck pulls through the river, out onto the opposite bank, and rolls right into a tree because the driver drowned...
