Re: The new "interesting" and "brave" Fiat Panda
I think that every time I'm behind one of them!
I just have the urge to overtake so I don't have to look at it

I was on about the new panda.....but yes they are damn ugly too
Re: The new "interesting" and "brave" Fiat Panda
There used to be an old Panda 4x4 at an off-road site near East Grinstead, as I recall it had no low box so everything had to be tackled at excessive speed; I don't think it was a comfortable ride!

I can't believe no one posted pictures of the 'road rat' kit car,
Based in the fiat panda 4x4 platform,
Here's an advert for this one if you want to buy one!

mind a guy making a anus style kit car based on the panda but it was costing him to much to really make a profit so gave it up shame cos it looked quite good
Re: The new "interesting" and "brave" Fiat Panda
Had three old style 4x4 Pandas over the years. Absolutely fantastic off road, I kid you not. Drove in circles around a Range Rover which had become well and truly stuck in some soft ground. When it was eventually pulled out by a tractor I drove the Panda over the same ground and out the other side. Just like a quad bike with a roof really. They really are that good. Just to confirm I have a little bit of experience on 4x4s, over the years I have owned 1 LJ80, 3 SJs, 1 series 3 Landrover ( never again) 1 Daihatsu F50, 5 Subaru's, 1 Bedford CF 4x4 and probably a few more I can't bring to mind.
I feel I must add that although I rate the old Panda's highly when fitted with the correct tyres, a Suzuki SJ would out perform in every department.

I quite like those Panda's, but that "road rat" thing - vehicles don't come much more ugly than that thing!
