2" lift Kit

I'm planning to fit a 2" lift kit on my LWB 53 plate Grand Vitara are these any good http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-GRAND- ... 4182f2039a
and how easy are they to fit if anyone has fitted one. The bit that concerns me is altering the toe out/in of the wheels. Any info is appreciated.

From my experience you can get cheaper elsewhere.

I never trust a company that doesn't actually picture the products it sells, reading the add it sounds like they supply astra shocks with the kit.

Not a seller or product I have experience with.

Jimny bits and bits4vits are usually very good.

Toe in/out is adjustable but you will need camber adjustment bolts.

gv s can be a bugger to set up ,on a 2" lift camber bolts dont have enough adjustment ,and without lowering the shock mounts the front sits to close to the top of the shocker theres no down travel hardly , to avoid loosing the strutt brace screw in extentions are the way to go

Hi when I replaced my springs and shocks from stanard to OME springs and shocks it gave me two inch lift all round and the camber bolts have not been an issue, mine are just a straight bolt so no ajustment and never had a problem with tracking or tyres
I then replaced the rear shocks from jimmys for procomp but suffered an injury so had to remove as to hard, still have them here along with the panhard bracket that im looking to sell,

If you have the OME struts then they have camber correction built into the lower mounts.

Hi rhinoman when I did mine it didn't come with any bolts just used the ones that came out and there just straight bolts/ it not scrubbed a tyre since and its been done a few years now.

Welcome to the club

I think what Rhinoman says is correct. When you buy specific lift kit the strut holes are drilled slightly different to standard so as to correct the camber. This means you can use your standard bolts.
If you just use strut spacers then camber correction bolts are needed.
These still don't cater for the camber on a higher lift.. Having said that I have heard of people fitting
4 camber adjustment bolts.

I can't think what make but some have a slotted hole in the strut so you can adjust to suit.
Not sure how good that would be in the rough IE: would they move/slip.
