Can anyone point me in the right direction on a tutorial on swapping a Jimny Gearbox.
Ive bought a manual on cd but still cant figure out what has got to be removed or how difficult it is. I have took a couple of boxes out, one being a mk2 escort,( repaired with genuine Ford parts for the grand total of 8p, those were the days) but i get the impression the Jimny isnt going to be that easy.
TIA Grego

Re: Removing Gearbox
I've not done one myself but doubt it will be too hard. 4x4s are so much easier to work on than cars.
Had SJ boxes in and out a few times without too much bother.

I have a Haynes manual for the SJ so I'm hoping it should be similar, I've looked online for a few days but drawn a blank, so I'll go with the book
