If you want, when I get back to the UK, I can show you how to use photobucket to host photos.
It basically does all the work for you, even creating the forum links - you just cut and paste the links it gives you right into the SCUK forum when you post.

Well weekend was fun. Did some damage though....
Melted a winch isolater
Split a fuel filter in half
Ripped a hub off
Ripped the exhaust off
Dented the side in the van panel part
Bent another spring
That's as far as the damage report has hot so far, sure there's more !!

Not too bad really as far as competing goes did you break the actual hub or just the mounting bolts?
Another front spring from winching or a rear?
Most importantly did you have an awesome day?? Seen a few pics on facebook and it looked good.

Hello mate
Yes was a lot of fun. Did enjoy it
The hubs a bit strange, it's smashed the casings of the warn hub, and snapped all the bolts. But all of the bolts where lock tighted, and they've been twisted into the hub, it's odd. But yeh the warn hub fell off completely.
The NSF spring has started to do what it did before bend up at the rear. Winched I've a huge tree which forced the wheel back very hard.
Cheap winch isolater filled up with water and melted itself.
Fuel filter split I presume because its a couple of years old.
Exhaust was ripped off on another log which had a perfect stump on it !!
Lots of fun, and tyres didn't rub once

Ouch! What grade bolts are you using? I've got 12.8 grade bolts on my rear drive flanges. I think it might be worth just running fixed drive flanges, just carry a 12mm on you in case you break a shaft so you can just pull the shaft out.
Did you ever get any further in your plans for a lockout on the missing links? Only thing I can imagine as it will be a bit of a pain in the arse trying to lock them everytime there's a big obstical to winch and one of them is already open.
Good to hear the tyres all cleared! Would have been a nightmare if they still caught after the two rounds of trimming.

Re: Mikes Samurai build /how to make 37 inch tyres fit :)
Not sure what grade they where, cost me a lot asked for high tensile. They where black 8mm allen cap heads, standard hubs are no good I sheared one of them in the past, Paul used to brake them as well. Hence why I bought updated hubs, warn assured me they where stronger.
Missing links arnt the problem, it's to do with the spring pack design the rear old man emu springs only have two clips holding the leafs together, which allows them to move, it bends around that point.
To be honest there's not a great deal I can do with them really.
Was a lot of fun, just not sure what to do now.

Broken fixed drive flanges? As in these?
I think it's begging for a coil conversion as it's not a road goer mike
I've never heard of anyone actually breaking the flanges, I know plenty of people that have sheared the bolts but not broken the actual flange.

Yeh I usually snap the bolts of them, Paul's smashed one up before, I just elongated the holes. Pretty much fucked then that's happened.
I don't like coils, il buy a land rover before that happens to my Sj.
I need to have a serious think what to do next, weather I keep on upgrading it and move further into the challenge scene with this. Or go for another route.
