Sounds about right, that's what my SJ has pulled before when I had slightly lower diff gearing, haven't had a top speed run for a while but mines quite comfortable at 70mph

Mine isn't comfortable at any speed...hoping the high steer kit will fix this.

I think she'll go past a real 90 but not going to ever try that again, was a bit hairy.

Did a few jobs today, the heater is feeble so I thought I'd put in a new thermostat...and it doesn't even have one, and the new one was too sodding big. Why is it every part I buy is wrong? Put my Pro Comp stickers on, mainly because they are PC shocks lol (honestly, not KYB). Explorer 9000. Yes one is leaking a little...put on a door lock (cheers Mike) so at least she's sorta secure now...

Got the glovebox lid here at home to fill and sand down, much comfier than the garage.

Es9000 are a bit stiff for a light vehicle aren't they?

1000 or 3000 are better suited to LJs and SJs

Are those actual procomps, or just generic ones with stickers on them like the vitara?

Yes it is very stiff and KYB's will be going on when funds allow.

Yes Anton REAL Pro Comps on every corner (same as the blue LJ).

Aaron many thanks again man! Hopefully getting the correct stat tomorrow, if not I know whom to call... :brows:

Andy popped over for the spare Vit engine in flood conditions, was funny as he pulled the bung hole out of his floorpan and half a gallon of manky water came out...

Almost finished the glovebox...

Was given yet another incorrect stat...took it back and had a look at their stock and found the right one. Bloke says it won't fit and can't understand why I am returning the one that doesn't fit! I even showed him a photo of the stat in Piglet 3 and his one side by side...still insisted he was right.

Well, he wasn't.

New thermostat in and she runs at the correct temperature now, half way up the gauge, unlike very cold before. And the heater output has doubled! Bonus!

sometimes you just have to ignore shop staff, after all we are working on these vehicles all the time, and they aren't!
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Bang on Kiwi, some of them are know it all gits, and in reality they know nothing. Even thought the car was a 'Vimara'. Rob Stoor emailed me and he has sent out axles instead of the steer kit. See what I mean? Every sodding part is wrong! On the plus side Scottie has DHL'd the bits for P5 and a wiper motor for P6 :smokin:

Did a few little jobs when the rain briefly stopped. Both door locks on and working, all door cards and tailgate card retrimmed. CB is now mounted as I want it too.

Going to my mate Stu's tomorrow and we'll do the steering on P5...hopefully then it's MOT time!

So it was you who got my axle bits, and I got your steering bits!!! :argh:

I hope you've sent them back as I want them. I've sent your steering bits back today. He should have them tomorrow.
