Good that you've worked out what the problem is though. You'll be back on the road in no time!

Fingers crossed! Still waiting for a phone call, was supposed to be the first job of the day, but they could be waiting for the parts to get there

So now with the IAC and both O2 sensors replaced, it's still not running right at all, the "mechanics" in the garage it's been in and out of keep telling me to replace parts that I don't think it even needs like the TPS, spoke to a mechanic in suzuki and he said the TPS won't be the problem, so I've decided I'm not messing around with backstreet garages anymore and it's being diagnosed by suzuki...

So on Monday I should find out what is actually wrong with it...

I'll take a guess at a coil pack.

Not long got off the phone from suzuki, they said no luck yet, they need another 2 hours to to check all the timing and fuel consumption, so another £324 in diagnostics so far :/

Just got my GV back from suzuki, they have adjusted the cam position sensor so that it runs better, but the garage that done the timing chain had fitted it wrong, the exhaust can is at least one tooth out of timing, so it's going back to the garage to be corrected in the morning

Going back to the same garage that cocked it up or suzuki? i would get your money back from the garage that cocked it up and go elsewhere. If they refuse, take threaten legal action.

It's going back to the garage that done it wrong, but I'm going to print out all the info I got from the Internet and give it to them, the guy that's re-doing it for me is the oldest one in the garage, he has more experience so hopefully he won't balls it up

It just wants the exhaust cam turning one tooth and the chain refitting, then it need the cam position sensor turning back to its original place and the ECU need to be told to relearn the position again and it should all be good...

I think I'm going to stay at the garage and make sure it's done properly this time, if I could afford it then I'd have suzuki do it for me, but after this is all over it'll be suzuki every time from now on...
