Painting over Bitumen

Post by Lash151 » Tue Aug 19, 2014 11:02 am

Hi.. sorry to start another thread on a similar subject.... but can you paint over the Bitumen on the floors? I am thinking, stone chip, truck bed liner or more Bitumen... I am going to put felt and rubber down so it's just for rust protection really.
Cheers Lee

you have to realize that most bitumen style underseals etc are actually porous, so you have to make sure everything is really well sealed off with lauqer or something either underneath it, or the top layer
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out
