Yeah, accelerating hard in 1st, I get that same painful clunking noise. Bam bar should fix that.

Looks like an ok angle to me, remove the prop to inspect the UJs properly, they might be dry.
Those are Sj props, they'll be fine, loads of us run the 1.6 on stock props with 33s and low gearing.
There's also the possibility that the clunk is coming from somewhere else, could be slightly worn Link bushes or one of the a-frame joints.

Found the culprit today. A tbox mount is kanckered as is an engine mount. New ones ordered!
If it ticks over...leave it
