you could tie one end of the new speedo cable to the old one and pull it through, you don't need to route a new one through the sill either, you could route it wherever you want :thumbup:

and as far i'm aware MOT regs will include a working speedo after some changes to the MOT next year.

I accidentally ran one over last year and that's what snapped the speedo cable...

One of those broke your throttle cable? I took out a fence, twice, and pulled one of the post foundations out the ground, and all I got was a few nice dents.

Speedo cable Ed...

It depends where you run them over I guess...
where the speedo cable goes into the transfer box theres about 5" of the cable running from passenger sill to t-box.

If you catch that then it can break!

So I got lucky then, I guess, or you unlucky. It sounds pretty vulnerable.

Yeah I think when I replace it I might get a bit of tubing and run it through that...
