hahah i can beat that! I once used cable ties to hold my transfer box on!

Managed to make it about 10 miles to get some bolts!
I did use as many cable ties as I could fit through the bolt holes though ;)

I just let mine rattle about when it ripped itself of its mounts

It just rattled (banged real loud) every time you put your foot down. Was fine for a few days till the new mounts arrived.

My mounts just completly fell out and died i think ive got larma ones now cant remember

Yeah, mine did the same thing when one of the mounts gave.....on the way to rescue my brother's broken down Megane.

I would just buy brand new genuine tbox mounts if any failed on my SJ, new ones are bloody strong!
(not that my blue one runs standard style mounts)

Im using poly bushes, long bolts and (crucially) big washers!

Looks like welding it is then :D Now can anyone tell me why Arc welders aren't any good for welding body panels please ? As I have an opportunity to borrow one but hear Mig welders are better. Thanks

Bodywork is too thin to use an Arc welder with, you'll be blowing holes everywhere :lol: I don;t think I would even attempt to use ARC on bodywork to be honest ;)
