Had a few days off work this week so i got a bit more done to this. Managed to patch the holes in the fuel tank, then put some tank sealer in for good measure. Also made the exhaust back-box, its not pretty but it does the job. Carb showed up as well so ive fitted that and finally had her running. Tested the electrics and all lights, horn and wipers etc work. Then used some of the spare vinyl i had from the tailgate lettering to make a rhino badge. Just need to do a few odds and ends then it'll be mot time at the end of the month when i get paid, cant wait to drive it on road legally!

Wow, that's living up to the sticker in your rear window, for sure! Proper job!

Done a few of the final details, made light and repeater lens guards, fitted the headliner (a right tw*t of a job) fitted the aerial so theres no hole in the A pillar, then had to replace both kingpin bearings on passenger side. Also changed my mind about the tyres/wheels and painted the original commercial wheels black and fitted them with some camac 4x4 tyres.
Had her in for the MOT today and she passed with no advisories, to say im pleased is an understatement! So shes taxed, tested and insured and im going to be using it as my daily driver for a while. Still a few bits to do, im going to chequer plate the insides of the drop down sides and need to make some chains to stop them folding down too far.
