Haha f*ck that! Lol 70 is quick enough for me, tonight is the night of the long drive just would like to know of there is any way of greasing or oiling the steeringbox?

you can oil it but if its leaking people just normally pump it with grease.

Doesn't seem to be leaking just want I make sure it's lubed up for the 140 mile trip, how do I go about oiling it? Is it the big but on the top? It doesn't seem to screw out or pull out though?

Yeah. The smaller one with the screw in it is the adjuster and the bigger (plastic I think) one is the filler.
Should screw out but I seem to remember it being fiddly and got at it with a spanner through my grille which you can't on a 410

Cheers dan, I'll have to see if I can get it with a socket and long extension, getting a tad bit nervous for the drive lol she's handled 50 mile journeys so I'll just do it in 50 mile sections, have a stop every 50 miles just to let her cool down..

ive done about 150 in my 90 today up to london and back and it was fine! so you will be fine in your sj410!
