all the philips head bolts should be fine to swap to SS, they are just holding interior stuff, nothing structural. just don't go swapping the normal bolts out for SS

It's only the bits in the body I'm replacing with stainless. Body, transfer box, gearbox and suspension bolts will be new 8.8 grade bolts, plastered with copper anti-seize compound.

Well, bit more progress tonight.
Everything is out apart from seat belts, pedals, steering column bracket, master cylinder, engine and gearbox. It will hopefully be a bare shell by the end of the weekend. Once I get a regulator for the new MIG welder I can start patching up!

be careful with this as well, as too much antiseize will cause all your nuts to vibrate of your bolts. just use it sparingly mate

I only use anti seize where the bolt is 'in' something, not on the threads. It's easy to grind nuts off if they rust on, but it can get a bit messy if you cut it off and have to thrash the living daylights out of the bolts!
