We don't mind a few off topic posts when they include an 800bhp monster
what sort of 1/4mile time do you expect it to lay down? I absolutely love the look of your Hotrod.

The 1/4 mile question is a good one. I don't think that it will ever be tried by me. With this much power the street tires that are on now would probably roast off. But it will be soooo much fun doing it. Just to hear the motor rumble through your body is qutie the experience.
This was just another one of my impracticle builds that I decided that needed to be added to my bucket list. Always wanted a big blown hotrod.
And with that last photo I can see you having problems shutting the hood!!
Tramp,
Believe you were referring to the gap between the body and the (front clip) or hood
Actually the (front clip) or hood is completely down it is just short. The front was extended 3" to make room for the larger Radiator and Fan needed to cool the motor in the hot Florida summers.
The hood and body will look like one when the stretch is finished on the (front clip) or hood.
BTW Willys had made several years of cars the 1940-41 being one of the most desired for the hotrod.
Here is a Link if you would like to see others

This is a little out of sequence. My buddy stopped by today with his stocker. Thought that you would like to see what that looks like next to the big one.
For those interested the stocker is 15.5” to the bottom of the rocker panel. The big on is 36” to the bottom of the rocker panel.
There is a 20.5” difference in lift from the stocker to the big one.

That looks great! ... And that's a lot of lift!
Makes my 2.5" lift look tiny lol
I do a lot of woodland off roading, so it would be impractical for me!
As you've said though its a street sj and I would love to have another one. To turn into a monster!
If it had half as much lift it would still be a amazing!
If you drove that around over here you'd be very hard pushed to find a bigger one!

Perhaps the DD is the more appropriate size you were referring to?
I have a question.
Are there any restrictions for something like the big one to ride the streets where you are?
It is very easy where I live for practically anything you want to put a plate on.

over here, im pretty sure the tyres have got to be covered by the wheel arch. so your beast would be out the question. if people widen or put bigger tyres on they either put bigger arches on or extrend them like this one, pic is off google, its to keep the police and mot man happy

Thanks for answering my question. There are more restrictive states in the US.
Restrictions consisting of:
tire covers as you provided
Bumper Height
Headlight Height
many others just to keep you from enjoying the ride you want. Have to be very careful when going over state lines.

I posted some of the build info to see if you were interested in the build.
I would like to know if there is further interest in the rest of the info and build?
Thanks for reply in advance
