Got the diff guard made up today...also put in a mesh grill to protect the lower part of the radiator. I have the template if anyone wants a guard made up! This was all done at my mate's inherited workshop...there is a ton of gear in there!

Until I can get a snorkel I thought I'd connect the diff breathers to a little air filter, found a handy bracket in the garage that worked perfectly. Also go this roll bar for a tenner of the bay, it will be a basis for an internal cage.

Home made... Brilliant! I made some underbody protection for the Vit out of some old checker plate as simply as I could. Needs a joint welding between the middle, and back plate, but having been out since, it is the best thing I've done. The front bumper is a bar and step from a truck as well. Just added a top piece.

Cheers Ollie, trying to keep everything as simple as possible so if I can do it anyone can!

And another fine bash plate there, they are quite easy to make, better than forking out £200 for a new one

Next job is a new exhaust and fit that roll bar, stay tuned.

Well, the front ones are expensive. Mine was as simple as it comes. Rectangle, with a bend in it. Bolt it on, job done. Cost? Probably a few lev for bolts. I like shit simple. My brother has some nice limping underbody protection for his SJ, and that cost close to 500 euros.

The roll bar is all done ready to be fitted, took many hours and 10 very coarse sanding discs but it was well worth it...
