Ok, Not a LJ or a 410 and it isn't a Land Cruiser so what is it. My mate found it in the mountains of Cyprus but the compound was locked. Next time we will try for a closer look ( Hope it is not a plastic made up thing but we will see.

daihatsu f10...
They were the main rival for the LJ50, in the 'Suzuki gold portfolio' it has a road test from an Australian magazine comparing the LJ50 and the daihatsu f10, the f10 has a four stroke engine which made it better on fuel consumption and a little better on the 'freeway'
Even though it isn't a suzuki congratulations on finding it, there aren't many left now,

I need to go and have a good look. it may be a LC but I have never seen one with a back body that has a flat top edge ( Like the MB and the GPW) Most Land Cruisers have a shaped top and a tailgate, also the side vents look level, all LCs that I have seen the vents are not level. perhaps it has been chopped about ???? You never know what you can find in Cyprus.

Damn! I could have sworn it was the daihatsu! When I look now I can see the gap between the bonnet and the grill, the wider arches and the wider axles!

Went back to have a better look. It is a Mini Cruiser , I gather they were made with some tie up with Toyota and made by Delta? Mostly used by the military, I have found pictures of army ones in the Philippines and I remember being driven in Pakistan many years ago in a small army LC. On reflection it was likely a Mini Cruiser, Looking on the net shows the Pakistan military using the Mini C. The badge on the side helped with the ID, it reads Mini Cruiser
Anyway, a very solid 4x4 with a military background but how it comes to be sitting in a yard in Cyprus is well !!!!!!. I am only half way into the LJ 80 rebuild but so tempted to have a go at this little beast.
