Hi, Dean from Lancashire. Just bought a Gv2000 as a lightweight alternative runabout to my Y60 Patrol.
Ex car mechanic now working on Trains. I've owned loads of different motors, spent many years with Landies, built a few from the ground up both as work and in my spare time and done a fair bit of off roading. Had a fast car phase a few years back that didn't last over the 4x4 thing. Fly RC planes when I'm not messing with motors.

Thanks for all the welcomes.
No big plans for the GV at the moment since my girlfriend has her eye on it now ;-) Just looking for a soft top for summer and probably some alloys or steel modulars. G/f says she wants a "snozzle" on it like my Patrol pmsl.
I've just given it a really good service, engine bay clean, bit of underbody wax on the most risky places like wheelarches and I'll do the rest when the weather improves. Also t-cut a few places like the mirrors and bumpers and waxed it all over.
