I recently read the locker topic debate on here. Was wanting to know if anyone is running the chinasoong diff locks yet? Or is anyone stocking them in the UK or just import them yourself?
I have used arbs in the past. They are fantastic and I should never have sold them! I am interested in trying a Chinese one and if its any good I would then get the second.

Re: Chinasoong air lockers
I doubt that the quality would be that good, they may work for a short time but the stress that these things work under could well give them a short life span, never heard of them or used them myself and of course i could well be wrong on the reliabilty side of things.
But going my previous chinese copy experiance its worth going for a more well known brand, albeit more expensive for sure but they are reliable.

Re: Chinasoong air lockers
I agree with RickUk in so far as a lot of Chinese products are poor quality, but then again a Suzuki is far from a torque twisting monster. So I'm sure it will be "man" enough for the duty.
I've also seen a video where ARB are showing how much better than Chinese copies, but again it was marginal in my opinion.

I don't know of anyone with one, but I've seen a few forums where people are looking to buy a batch, but that never happens.
Go on be the Guinea Pig, and let us know how you go on.
What is the price difference in ARB and Chinazoong?

The aussies seem to like chinasoong lockers - perhaps have a word with Aussies?

Re: Chinasoong air lockers
Yea I know that you'll probably never bet a arb but I saw on a topic on here that some were talking about at the end of last year the the price of 2 chinese lockers with a compressor were the same as 1 arb. If they are the right price I will be the guinea pig for 1! I dont think I'd use 1 in something bigger like a hilux, I just thought used gently in a suzuki they might be alright. I have not found a bad write up about them yet apart from the arb video which did destroy the whole unit but did take a fair amount of torque before it did. I agree the life time of them will not be the same as an arb. I am waiting for a price to come back to me for one then I guess I will make a decision unless anyone can convince me one way or the other!
