manual choke control location
manual choke control location
Small question please - about to fit a manual choke SU. Have the Haynes manual but the pics are all a grey blur... there is a small rectangular blank insert in the dash (91 Samurai) below left of steering wheel down at the bottom in a recess - that is my best guess at location. But can anyone say where the choke knob would be fitted as standard? Thanks, Douglas

I put mine there as well, but as the plastic is a bit flimsy I had to make a little piece of metal to cover the hole

Excellent, that'll be where it's going then. Indeed Twiss, mine looks like it would fall out so an ali plate behind maybe.

I placed mine on the plate under the steering wheel
And a few switches too! Please ignore the loose wires! I need to fasten them back,
