SU Carb Value

got an old su carb and mount from my old engine, it was a bit tatty and had some cable ties holding it together but still worked ok, anybody know the value of it if its worth selling or keeping it?

SU carb elbow adaptor about £15. SU carbs go from about £35 to £75 depending on condition and setup.

thanks, well if anybody is interested have the elbow and the carb but no hoses, can have them both for £40, i'll get some pics up of the carb though, like i say it worked but its not the best example of one

it did have a sticky throttle but i just used a spring and washer on it and it worked fine after

That's an old HS style carb, most people want HIF carbs.

Its just an H carb actually
The HS carb has an external fuel hose connecting the float chamber to the carb...

If that's the case, might actually be worth more to the MG, Rover, Jag or Austin communities.
