Yet another "Look What I Found"

Post by Cyprus Geoff » Wed Oct 29, 2014 1:42 pm

Saw this on "Old Timer Zuks" It looks beautiful but there are anomalies!

1. The front end is 1996> coiled zook front end - note the curve of the grill and body etc)

2. BUT it has normal springs???

Anyone seen this before?

Looks to me like its just a lwb with a coily front clip and coily scuttle grafted onto the screen surround.

I once read that santana built leaf sprung SJ's from 98 until 2002 with the coil spring face-lift grille and bumpers for certain parts of Europe.

Don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, then this is probably a Spanish 98+ LWB for the East European market. Maybe.
