body lift needed? su carb

I put a 2" body lift on my SJ, but I've now decided i don't want it.

My SU is on an adapter similar to the ebay ones. top part of carb is off awaiting spring and needle being delivered so cant see if bonnet will touch it but it certainly looks like it will.

Any idea if it will fit without body lift? at some point i'll get a proper inlet manifold

It may squeeze in if its a 1.3.

The 1.6 is taller and it will foul.

A samurai bonnet would help it...

I fitted a little bulge, however mine doesn't poke through much.

That's with the proper manifold though isn't it?
Not an adapter

Look up Rockwatt and message him on here. Or find him on Facebook and message him there.

They are over £100 but make such a difference.
