Winch company

Post by ianedwards » Wed Apr 08, 2015 6:21 pm

Evening,

Has any ever heard of or used a company called - super power winch uk ltd (www.superpowerwinch.co.uk) based in bude Cornwall.

Just wondering as I'm quite tempted by the tigershark 11500 they got on offer,

But a bit unsure as I've never heard of them before..

Cheers

I've only ever had winch-it and goodwinch and I can't fault either of them, Goodwinch are a more expensive winch but the quality is awesome, I currently have a winch-it 13,000lb on the front of mine with a 10mm synthetic rope and it has never let me down...and it wasn't expensive at all

my mate runs a 12500lb super winch on his 80 series landcruiser, and he swears by it, says he'll never buy anything else!
It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

I've been looking at winchmax, a few guys I know have them and swear by them, not sure which way to go really , But I go like the look of the new style ones, they look nicer than most I think

I've got a 12000 on the back, taken off my dads old discovery, don't know what make it is but that's never let us down.

?? Lol

Super winch are supposed to be spot on. I know a few people with them on wreckers and as trailer winches (artic / stepframe / low loaders).

Unless winchmax have got better I wouldn't buy one...my mate had one that was fine for a few months and then he had to constantly strip and sort out every few months.
