What signature colour/s should I respray my samurai? :D
TL:DR - will have to spray a new hard top to match anyway so might just respray the whole car a new colour?
It has come to my attention that as much as I love the flippety flapping of my soft top and the inability it grants me to hear my girlfriend when driving along above 40, I would really quite like a hard top to keep things a little more...secure .
As stated in my "wanted" post for a hard top on here, my uncle has generously offered to buy me a hard top as a late 18th birthday present....if I can find one that is :/
Given that I can't even find one being sold at the moment it leads me to believe that the chance of finding one in white is about as slim it gets (nickname irony.. I know). And because of this I am more than likely going to have to respray it to match my car SO In my general stupidity I thought why not just respray the whole car a new colour along with the new hard top?
This is where you guys come in, I want a signature colour scheme that looks good out offroading, but doesn't make me look like a twat when parked at college or tesco's
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated, bonatti grey is a high contender but I'd love your suggestions!! (here she is below)

Whatever you do. Do not matt black it.
It looks ok in the pics. Me personally id just clean up the white
Off the body and un colour code it. Maybe a slate grey kinda colour
On the bumpers, grille , arches mirrors. etc etc.
Grey with white should look good.
If your happy to go with matts/satins try graffiti paint.
Montana blacks range covers well and is around 3.99
A can from graffiti city on ebay or slightly cheaper if you
Go direct on their website. Scotch it to give a key and spray.
No primers needed.

A chap on retro rides painted an entire discovery in the montana black Paint and used only 9 cans. It covers well and theres a alot of
Colours to choose from. I found the spray nozzles that
Came with the cans sprayed a bit heavy so i just used the spray nozzles from Other spray cans i had in the cupboard.

Haha machine polish mate get the white uber shiny then compliment the shining white with some darker parts

Is that the original paint? Bumpers and trim may heve been done sometime, I assume they would have been black originally?
Personally I do not like colour changes half-done. If changing colour I reckon body off and do the entire shell properly - a big job indeed. Nothing worse than a fair paint job and you open the bonnet to discover an entirely different colour. I'm with R-nottz - work with what you have.
