A long long time ago, (way too long to only now be underway) 5 years ago I bought a speedboat hull in need of some love from a dodgy place that it was pretty obvious was stealing outboards, anyways I bought this speedboat hull (no seats, engine or trailer) off of them for £10 after they had "bought it only for the engine" so I hope the whole bloody boat isn't stolen, anyway it's been 5 years so fingers crossed I'm in the clear if it is haha, anyway long story short I have finally decided to pull it out of the jungle I call a garden and give it some love, I had to house sit for my brother last week so took the opportunity to take my boat with me and finally get it repainted, I sanded the whole thing down with 240grit to remove all general outdoor grime and also give it a key for the paint, filled all the screw holes etc with p38 and the nastier holes with p40, then roller painted the whole thing with 2pack red paint (that shit doesn't come off your hands as you'll see and makes you look like a satanist for weeks)
Below I'll post the few photos I have taken during this little project

Haha for £60 a tin I almost felt like murder had been committed to my wallet

cheers it's the windscreen that really lets you see it's proper shape, I'm having a 5% tint almost full black one made up at the moment, here's a pic of the shape once they have the windscreen on:
(Hopefully mine looks better than that one once my screens on

Yeah I'd like to find something similar... good to tow behind the zook... living on an island in the med a boat is really needed!

Yeah they're great fun and if you get something with a hull shape like mine they will fly with whatever engine you throw on them, the guy I bought it off said it had a 70Hp on the back when he bought it which must have been scarily fast on a boat this light with such a small water contact area haha, I'm gonna throw my Johnson 30 on it which should be more than enough! As I'm sure you're aware if you do buy one make sure you buy it at the end of summer, it's when people will be wanting to get rid of their "toys" for quick cash for Christmas haha

I will probably just run a 10hp as you don't need a license or anything to drive one here... just a small registration fee I think about €10

Yeah no license needed here on the Norfolk broads, just tax and reg both about £15 haha there are so many speedboat "projects" for sale here In the uk but I couldn't see any on the Malta eBay, don't know how you'd get one from here to there though

I'd tow that bitch all the way back mate! ... and the Malta equivalent of eBay is called Maltapark
(its not really an equivalent, just the most popular buy and sell website)
