I have the same tow bar as you, it was an original authorised Suzuki fitted part.
When I fitted my new fuel tank recently, I took off the tow bar and that brace for access. I thought about not installing that bit too, just for cleaner lines but thought better of it, so it went back.
Also, you should have a 'sleeve' for the long bolt that sits inside the chassis member hole fixing point. Mind you don't tilt it when putting bolt in as easy to fall inside the box section and rattle around forever!

My towbar is a similar design and doesnt have the brace. Some do
some dont. Id be more inclined to change the back box as that
looks like exhaust rattle mania.

Are those shackles actually tested and rated? Being only 12mm diameter I would not trust it for anything but a very light recovery. Considering rated 3.25T shackles usually have a 18+mm pin I highly doubt those can handle 4T. Personally I will only use tested and rated shackles with the correct markings for recovery, I have seen what can happen when recovery gear and points fail and it can be fatal.
Do they carry any of these markings?

It pulled out a Isuzu double cab 1 tonne pick up from a pub car park ditch OK.
I've learned from all those (especially Oz) recovery vids on YT, and followed all the rules.
