Suzuki jiminy ignition key lost

Post by Bobbybarlow99 » Sun Feb 05, 2017 6:57 pm

Hiya Guys

I hope some one can point me in the right direction

My daughter has a 2001 jiminy which she loves.. Unfortunately today she lost the only key we had when she was down the stables tending her horse.. Im led believe it has a chip in it, i know we can contact the main dealer to request a new key and coding but that will probably cost a lot of money that she has not got. Some one mentioned timpsons any ideas would be gratefull

Thanks

If you know the key number one can be made. Maybe an easier idea is to get a used ignition off Ebay or the like.
If it ticks over...leave it

Timpsons cut my key for just under £50, that was a clone though, not really sure how you'd go about it otherwise.

Have you got the Key Code in the Service Manual pack?
